The Role
We're seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representative to join our growing team at our Burgess Hill office. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our continued expansion, helping businesses across the South of England discover how our comprehensive facilities maintenance solutions can transform their operations.
As an SDR, you'll be at the forefront of our business development efforts, identifying and engaging potential clients who can benefit from our innovative approach to facilities maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels)
- Research and identify potential clients across target sectors including commercial offices, healthcare facilities, logistics centres, retail spaces, and educational institutions
- Qualify leads and set appointments for our senior sales team
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects using our industry-leading CRM system
- Collaborate with marketing to develop effective outreach campaigns
- Maintain detailed records of all prospect interactions and activities
- Meet and exceed monthly targets for qualified appointments and pipeline development
- Stay informed about our service offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Represent Voltix Services professionally at networking events and industry functions
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (1-2 years preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident telephone manner and ability to engage decision-makers
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and desire to succeed
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Desirable
- Experience in B2B sales, particularly in the facilities management, construction, or building services sector
- Understanding of commercial property management and maintenance
- Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and sales automation tools
- Experience working in a fast-growing, technology-driven company

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with some flexibility required during busy periods
- Annual Leave: 23 days plus bank holidays.
